Appliance Rebate and Energy Assessment Incentive Program
The City of Knoxville and CAC Housing & Energy Services are offering rebates to homeowners, non-profit organizations, and commercial businesses located within the City of Knoxville limits for replacing older model, non-Energy Star appliances with certain Energy Star appliances and Water Sense appliances.
Appliances included in the program include certain Energy Star models of refrigerators, water heaters, clothes washers, dehumidifiers, dishwashers, freezers, room air cleaners and air purifiers, water coolers, televisions, and computers. WaterSense commodes are also included in the program.
Rebates are also offered to home owners for a home energy audit and installing energy saving measures on the property recommended by a professional energy auditor within certain guidelines. See the Appliance Incentive Guidelines and Eligibility form for program details and information.
The program was developed to assist residential, commercial, and non-profit places of business to upgrade existing buildings to reduce energy use; to lower utility bills; and to improve comfort, durability, health and safety.

Solar Photovoltaic System and Solar Thermal System Rebate Incentives
The City of Knoxville is offering rebates to homeowners, non-profit organizations, and commercal businesses within the City of Knoxville limits for installing solar water heating systems and solar photovaltaic systems.
